Forrester is looking for a sales leader who excels at people, business, and thought leadership. The Sales Director, Premier Accounts leads a team of eight senior sales professionals who manage relationships with some of Forrester’s largest global agency and professional services accounts. This individual will ensure that each team member's activity, skills development, and bookings goals are planned and met on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The Sales Director will focus the team on retaining and growing our premier agency and professional services clients and will elevate the strategic selling skills of the team. This individual enables team success through creating and maintaining a collaborative, winning team culture; continuously coaching team members; managing his/her business effectively; and being involved in key meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.Job Description:

Achieve overall team sales goals.Display a growth mindset.Develop and maintain a strong team culture.Coach and motivate individual team members.Develop team members for current and future opportunities.Work with reps to develop and execute global account strategies.Leverage art and science to forecast accurately on a monthly and quarterly basis.Collaborate with other Forrester departments and sales teams to enrich business.Utilize Forrester’s CRM system, data, and sales methodology.Act as a role model and leader within the sales organization. Promote a can-do culture and positive environment, advise reps on accounts, answer questions, and provide assistance when necessary.Assist, as appropriate, with presentations to clients and prospective clients.Manage the region as a business with appropriate expense and budget controls.Job Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree.Proven sales experience and sales leadership experience.Proven experience managing large accounts, achieving revenue goals, and managing sales strategies.Background working at or with agencies and/or professional services firms a plus.A strong track record of sales management in both sales target attainment and people/team development.The ability to thrive in a team selling environment.Coaching and mentoring skills.A culture builder who epitomizes thinking big, collaboration, and excellence.An innovative thinker who can take our largest account relationships to the next level.Please note that the base salary range listed here applies to all applicable US geographies listed in this requisition, with the exception of New York City; base salary will be dependent on an employee’s primary working location and the employee's skills compared to the requirements of the role.
