Principle Software Engineer

***This position has the fully remote option. Candidates not required to be onsite ***Skills Required:Minimum 9 years of experience with Data Engineering background with deep understanding of Databricks Architecture, Power BI Architecture, and Data Lake ArchitectureMinimum 9 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise analytical applications in the cloud, preferably AzureMinimum 9 years of experience with big data technologies IE Hadoop, Apache Spark, and/or DatabricksMinimum 3 years of experience developing distributed system in languages like Python, Scala, or PySparkMinimum 3 years of experience with transporting data from enterprise systems to Azure using Azure Data Factory or Azure DatabricksMinimum 3 years of experience building data visualization, reporting, and data models in Power BIMinimum 3 years of experience with complex DAX transformations and complex queryingExperience creating end to end data pipelines in Databricks using Databricks Notebooks, Databricks Jobs, Auto Loader, and Databricks Structured StreamingBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications:Apache Spark CertificationAzure Certification(s)7+ years of experience working with an enterprise database management system (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)Experience deploying and automating data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure DevOpsExperience with web development in the .NET FrameworkResponsibilities:Analyzing and translating business requirements into technology solutions, performing data analysis by creating and executing complex queries, interpreting results, and communicating findings to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
