Responsibilities
Use background in software engineering to create compelling product visions that provide value to both our customers and business. Guide the development and delivery of React Native mobile and web applications that are hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Provide technical and functional requirements to build software products using TypeScript, Python, REST APIs, JavaScript, and NodeJS. Provide technical requirements to build DevOps interface powered by Grafana, Open Search, AWS X-Ray, AWS Dynamo DB, and AWS Aurora to monitor overall system health and usage. Collaborate with User Experience (UX) designers using Miro and Figma to build high-definition prototypes of software products. Collaborate with seed and soil biome agronomists to enable agronomy solutions via a web-based digital software solution. Align a cross-functional team to both create and execute the product vision. Collaborate on methods, metrics, and innovation to drive the best solution to market. Balance tradeoffs between speed, feasibility, and value in collaboration with engineering, user experience, and marketing partners. Collaborate on customer relationships with a diverse set of business, marketing, engineering, and operational partners. Drive rigor in prioritization for maximum business and customer outcomes. Define the product backlog and acceptance criteria in partnership with engineering, by prioritizing work for the software design and development teams, and describing the specific software requirements of the product design or solution. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a software developer-related occupation. 4 years in Agriculture Software Product Management, or related experience. Developing business cases and models, measuring KPIs, defining testing strategies, and generating analysis necessary to measure the success of each initiative. Programming paradigms and business requirement frameworks (process and task analysis, use cases, user stories, user journeys, story mapping). Agronomic and geospatial engineering and data principles, best practices, and industry relevant systems. Benefits
Salary is $197,808 annually.
