You’ll be partnering with the engineering team to make sure the right data is exported to our data warehouse. You’ll also be responsible for working closely with our Economics, Product Analytics, and Finance teams to deeply understand their goals. You’ll be building a roadmap to create robust data models using DBT used to inform critical decision-making across the company. Your work will directly contribute to our understanding of user behavior and marketplace dynamics to help inform strategic and operational decisions.Minimum Requirements:8 years or more experience working with data as a software engineer, data engineer, data scientist, or analyst.Strong engineering foundations with experience defining data models, building data pipelines, and writing maintainable and testable code.Excellent SQL skills and experience using Python for analysis.Experience maintaining BigQuery or other data warehouses and addressing scaling challenges and costs as teams and data sets grow.Excellent technical communication skills and are excited to use them to collaborate with engineers, analysts, and economists to solve complex problems.A track record of using input from stakeholders to inform a strong point of view on the right way to surface data to the organization.Experience using tools like DBT to build well-documented and trusted data products that teams can rely on for high-stakes analysis.A passion for learning.
