Harmonic is hiring a territory Sales Director, Fiber Broadband Business Development (Rocky Mountain Region - U.S.), to represent Harmonic’s fiber-to-the-anything (FTTx) solution to Tier 2 & Tier 3 telecommunications companies, municipalities, electric cooperatives, tribal nations and underserved communities exploring broadband services. The Sales Director will be responsible for managing customer relationships, developing the opportunity pipeline, and securing new revenue within the fiber broadband provider market.The ideal candidate is based in region, working remotely, and traveling to support customers and prospects frequently.Location
Remote – this position is 100% remote for candidates within the United States. Strong preference for candidates to live in the territory.What you will be doing:
Primary responsibilities and activities of the Sales Director, Fiber Broadband Business Development include:Identify, engage, qualify and close new fiber-portfolio opportunities within the assigned territory.Manage and foster relationships with active accounts and prospects.Formulate sales strategy and execute against revenue targets.Regular sales forecasting and definition of a multiyear outlook.Communicate critical commercial and technical deliverables from the customer to the Regional Vice President and business unit.What you should have:
Experience selling broadband products and associated services into the U.S. Tier 2 & Tier 3 telco market in the territory.A technical background on fiber to the home ecosystems, products, and terminology is preferred.Travel
Candidates will be expected to travel up to 70% of the time for customer meetings, presentations, and events.Pay & Benefits
