What You Will Do

Guidehouse seeks an Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Communications Senior Consultant to take an active role in engagement execution for change management. This includes stakeholder management and developing materials around change readiness assessments, communications analysis, communications planning, and the execution of change management and communications collateral. OCM Senior Consultants help our clients transform their business processes, improve efficiency and operations, increase transparency, and promote user adoption, and comply with Federal, State, and Local government laws and regulations. As a Senior Consultant, you will have responsibility for client management, solution implementation, and overall delivery within your assigned workstream. You will be relied upon for project workstreams and interact with clients to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with clients and consulting leaders. Senior Consultants must prepare and communicate well-organized communications and presentations to clients and internal executives.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting experience, helping our public sector clients solve complex issues from strategy to execution.

Specific Responsibilities Include

Proactively assist in the delivery of engagement activities and manage the completion of deliverablesWork independently, with minimal supervision, and partner with others to develop relationships across the engagement teamLead one or more tasks or work streams within a client engagement, overseeing individual contributions as well as potentially that of junior staffGuide client and internal subject matter expert conversations toward effective outcomesDevelop strategies to solve complex OCM challenges for our clientsContribute to the development of the team’s industry acumen and capabilities through contribution to internal firm initiativesLead key components of change management projects and teams to develop and implement change strategies and plansConduct user-centered research to create practical approaches to increase customer awareness and adoption of changeLead the creation of content for stakeholder engagement regarding planned changes – what’s in it for me, why it matters, how it’s done, and the program's statusCommunicate with all levels of an organization and prepare engaging and dynamic briefings for senior executivesPerform quality assurance reviews on all work productsTrack and report the status of change programs, including key metrics and risksSupport the development and continuous improvement of Guidehouse change management methodologies and toolsParticipate in business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materialsWhat You Will Need

Prosci or CCMP certificationMinimum of THREE (3) years of change management experience with a minimum of THREE (3) years in a lead capacityBachelor's Degree; OR SEVEN (7) years' relevant experience may be used in lieu of Bachelor's DegreeExperience implementing technology systems; examples include Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, etcCommunications experience creating collateral, specifically through a human-centered design (HCD) lens in creating materials such newsletters, executive briefings, and mass emails using mail merge and Send To functions within MS productsOrganizational and project management skillsExperience leading one or more tasks or work streams within a client engagement, overseeing individual contributions, as well as potentially overseeing the work of additional engagement or junior staffWhat Would Be Nice To Have

Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of business, including experience writing reports and client or public-facing documents, as well as communicating complex concepts effectively through MS PowerPoint, including creating custom visuals and customization of slide mastersThe ability to work as part of a team and prioritize resources and time effectivelyComfort with quantitative analysis in Excel, for example, with pivot tables and conditional formatting, as well as the ability to translate analysis findings into easily digestible visuals or communicationsAbility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and develop successful professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersExperience implementing change management for large-scale (5,000+ users) technology systems implementation projectsMinimum of THREE (3) years of management consulting experience within the public sectorExperience managing small project teams (2-4 team members)Knowledge of graphic design conceptsExperience documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Experience with business process redesignExperience designing complex surveys and associated data analysisExperience with copy-editingExperience using Visio, documenting workflows, and doing process mappingMaster’s degree in communications, organizational design, public policy, administration, or other appropriate degreeWhat We Offer
