Exciting opportunity in the intersection of business and science. As part of the R&D Finance team, the Sr. Financial Analyst will play a key role in enabling the success of their assigned function(s) within R&D and Medical Affairs, supporting key financial processes, enabling the success of program teams, and acting as a business partner to assigned key functions at the company.Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)Acts as a key partner in supporting the assigned functions and programs in financial and business planning analysis, reporting, and operationsCreates and/or updates financial models that support decision-making and provide valuable insight to Senior Leaders and project teamsReviews and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual results, helping to understand variances of actuals vs budget or forecastAnalyzes departmental budgets and plays a key role in forecasting efforts to support financial planning and overall guidanceCollaborates with cross-functional business partners and teams within assigned functions and AccountingIdentifies and delivers opportunities to simplify and improve processes and systems and create operational efficienciesPerforms ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem solving, decision-making, and actionable recommendations for the businessCollects and analyzes financial information for assigned business in order to track the organization's progress against financial goalsOther duties as assignedRequirementsBS/BA degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or closely related field and 6+ years of financial analysis experience; Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech industry experience is a plus. Experience as client-facing finance resource is preferred. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
