Creative problem-solving, attention to detail, and an intellectual curiosity will be keys to success. As a member of the analytics team, you will apply logic and critical thinking to address business and technical challenges while facilitating informed business decisions.Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of business, mathematics, and spreadsheets (Excel). The preferred candidate will have a strong desire to work with data, perform analysis, create reporting, train business users, and work cross-functionally in an increasingly data-dependent organization.This is a high-profile position that supports teams across the organization including executive leadership. Accuracy and effective communication, both written and verbal, are critical.After the first three months, the Business Insights Analyst will:Be proficient in using SQL to extract data and perform analysis.Demonstrate an Excel skillset which includes using advanced functionality and formulas to organize, validate, and analyze data.Assume responsibility of building reports and visualizations in the business intelligence software (MicroStrategy).Possess the necessary knowledge to train and support users of the reporting tools.Key Responsibilities:Reporting: developing new reports, charts, visualizations, and maintaining existing ones. This is done in close coordination with business users.Analysis: answering business questions, providing recommendations, and explaining results.
