Senior Financial Analyst

ResponsibilitiesCreate financial forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business initiatives.Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant information for accurate forecasting.Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgets and forecasts.Provide insights into trends, opportunities, and potential risks affecting the financial performance of the company.Customize reports to address specific needs of different departments or levels of management.Analyze scenarios and perform sensitivity analyses to assess potential outcomes.Produce a scenario-based long-range plan that allows management’s decision-making flexibility.Be a subject matter expert on financial models and technical financial knowledge to consult with stakeholders on various model outputs such as EPM and EVA templates used for capital expenditure requests.Continuously improve financial models and reporting solutions by studying and proposing changes in methods and materials.Deliver quality and timely financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting that adds value to both the operational and strategic decision-making process.Show technical finance knowledge, modeling capabilities and be viewed as a strategic partner to the finance organization and business partners.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, accounting or economics5-7 years of work experience in the related areaStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environmentStrong project management skills, including organization, planning, and executionConsistently provide high-quality work to SVP/EVPsAble to present to senior leaders, discuss analytics, and provide data-based views that may differ from leadership viewsAbility to present financial information to a non-financial audienceConfidence to bring up data gaps and provide insights into whyChallenge ways of working and strive to continually elevateStrong financial knowledge to connect business levers to macro-economic and external trends and recommend actionsAbility to work effectively in both team and self-directed environmentsDemonstrate intellectual curiosityAdvanced Excel and Oracle EPM skills preferredExperience with Essbase is preferredAbout YouThrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration & strategic thinking are the norm.Enjoy innovating financial analysis methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Have a strong analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving and attention to detail.Can connect financial analysis to overall business strategy and provide valuable insights.Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.Keen on collaborating with various departments, including operations, marketing, and sales, to gather data, understand business processes, and integrate financial analysis into decision-making.JM FAMILY IS PROUD TO BE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERJM Family Enterprises, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
