is based in Deerfield Beach, Florida and is searching for a qualified attorney to join its legal team. Counsel will provide legal advice to support the vision and strategic objectives of the JM&A Group companies: Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc., Jim Moran & Associates, Inc., Courtesy Insurance Company, and Fidelity Insurance Agency, Inc. Counsel will perform a variety of legal functions.

Responsibilities:Advise associates on the legal requirements, implications, and liabilities of essential business plans, programs, policies, and agreements.Develop, provide advice, and implement preventative business strategies to minimize legal and financial risk.Develop, implement, and monitor policies, practices, and training to ensure that JM&A complies with legal requirements and its associates are knowledgeable of and comply with federal, state, and local laws.Prepare, review, and negotiate various agreements.Review advertising and marketing materials.Manage customer complaints and regulatory inquiries.Conduct presentations and provide training on regulatory issues and relevant legal topics.

Qualifications:JD with two-plus years in-house or law firm experience.Automotive F&I aftermarket industry experience preferred.Superior academic credentials.Excellent writing and communication skills, particularly to assist a non-legal audience in understanding complex legal and regulatory requirements.Solid judgment, business acumen, and analytical skills.Comfortable presenting and/or providing training to large groups on complex legal topics.Forward thinking, creative, and confident presenting and advocating for the implementation of ideas.Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively; must be adaptable, flexible, and thrive in a fluid environment characterized by multiple priorities.Clear understanding and adherence to ethical principles, company values, code of conduct, and policies.
