The successful candidate will handle a broad range of insurance defense matters, providing legal support to our clients and ensuring we meet our commitment to excellence. This position offers a stimulating work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work with a diverse team of dedicated professionals.ResponsibilitiesManaging a caseload of complex insurance defense files from inception through trial.Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, reports, and opinions.Negotiating settlements on behalf of insurance companies.Conducting legal research and analysis of law sources such as statutes, legal articles, and legal codes to prepare cases accordingly.Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations.Working closely with other attorneys and partners to provide the best legal solutions for our clients.Participating in business development initiatives, including networking events and client seminars.QualificationsJuris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice and in good standing with the state bar.A minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation insurance defense is preferred.Proven track record of representing or advising clients on insurance matters.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for insurance litigation and a commitment to client service, we would love to hear from you.
