This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to further their career in the legal industry by working with a team of seasoned professionals on a variety of insurance defense matters.ResponsibilitiesRepresenting clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability cases.Conducting thorough case analysis and investigations to determine the validity of claims.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and pleadings.Providing sound legal advice and strategies to clients regarding potential risks and litigation.Preparing and presenting cases in court and before arbitration panels.Collaborating with team members and clients to ensure a comprehensive defense strategy.Staying updated on industry trends, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and provide the most effective representation.Participating in business development activities to retain existing clients and attract new ones.QualificationsA Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the state bar.A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.Exceptional knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and procedures.Proven experience in drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and managing discovery.Strong negotiation, research, and trial advocacy skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
