Heavy Financial and Criminal Background CheckWe are currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-oriented Systems Analyst to join our client's team in Washington, DC, to begin an exciting and challenging career supporting a government client.The ideal candidate should be proficient in understanding the Software Development Lifecycle and the supporting software necessary to perform change management.1 year of experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline. With 5 years of specialized experience, no degree is required.Capability to develop SQL to support testing analysis activities, including back end database testing.Must have a 'Can Do - Professional Attitude' and be a TEAM player.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).Hands-on experience with Data Studio is ideal.Experience in software testing, creation, and implementation.Responsibilities

Utilize your expertise in technical requirement gathering and analysis.Support clients by providing strategic guidance for new applications or enhancements of existing applications using standard methods and best practices.Analyze client requirements and assist with developing recommendations for system solutions through development, system improvements, and operational optimizations.Investigate, analyze, and resolve routine and advanced problems in selected functional areas.Assess, gather, and evaluate client application requirements.Perform benchmark needs analysis and requirements definitions in selected functional areas.Analyze, design, develop, implement, and maintain a variety of client environments or solutions.Handle portions of larger projects, including data development, analysis, and client interaction under supervision.Develop depth in one area of specialization (e.g., solutions specialization, architectural design, etc.).Coordinate work with developers, testers, operations, engineers, and clients as required.Write technical documentation, complete analysis sheets, prepare presentations, and conduct application demonstrations.Support clients by designing, customizing, delivering solutions, training, and giving technical presentations.Suggest components for basic system integration of products and services in selected functional areas.Write specification documents for solutions and enhancements to applications or systems.Suggest changes to database design that support the proposed solution.Perform database queries to troubleshoot problems.Collaborate, communicate, and triage technical issues across teams.Conduct test risk/system impact analysis.Identify, document, and track defects thoroughly.Listen effectively and clarify information as needed.Speak in a clear, concise, and organized manner appropriate to the audience.Facilitate an open exchange of ideas to ensure all group input is considered.Handle technical, sensitive, or controversial topics with agility, involving executives/managers as appropriate.Write technical documentation in a detailed, clear, and organized fashion for both technical and non-technical audiences.Qualifications

1 year of experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. With 5 years of specialized experience, no degree is required.Capability to develop SQL to support testing analysis activities, including back end database testing.Ability to collaborate, communicate, and triage technical issues across teams.Ability to conduct test risk/system impact analysis.Ability to thoroughly identify, document, and track defects.Able to prioritize, multi-task, and excel in a fast-paced, on-time deliverable environment.Must have a 'Can Do - Professional Attitude' and be a TEAM player.Oral Communication: Makes clear and convincing oral presentations to individuals and groups. Listens effectively and clarifies information as needed.Written Communication: Clearly articulates the customer’s requirements and proposed solutions in writing.
