The ideal candidate will devise clear roadmaps to fruition and is comfortable thinking strategically and diving deep. A leader who can identify opportunities and leverage the team to translate them into live solutions.Qualifications and Responsibilities:Cerner experience requiredMin 10 years of experience in IT mgmt.Experienced working previously in an Integration Architect / Analyst roleCerner conversions or Implementation experience requiredStrong technical background, ability to dive into the technical details is required.Hands-on experience building software in object-oriented languages/cloud technologies/modern technology stacks.Champion for modern engineering practices (SAFe/Agile, CI/CD/DevOps).Experience in converting business and technology requirements into the requirement for engineering development teams for enterprise scale projects.Manage multiple dependencies/drive alignment on strategy/complex technical problems.Leadership on multiple products throughout their life cycles (idea conception/product release/maintenance). Understanding of Architectural Design Patterns/Domain Driven Design.Strong software engineering/software architecture skills. Implementation of modern domain driven design patterns (micro-services/containers, disposable, reactive, stateless/distributed patterns)Experience in Mpage development, Cerner SmartApps and CCL scriptingExperience in interoperability and data exchange through HL7 and FHIRExperience building top talent/high performance teams, directing multiple teams/engineering managers of starting/growing teams/organizations under their direct leadership.Solid understanding of the business models and incentive structures in place in health care, including how health systems use IT and digital health to achieve financial, operational, clinical or strategic goals.Knowledge of EHR/EMR (Epic, Cerner, etc.) systems and technology, including experience with modern software products that integrate into these systems.Expert in problem identification/triaging of complex multi-tier systems.Strong project mgmt, problem solving/change mgmt skills.Education:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required Master's Degree: PreferredLocation:Denver/Nashville preferredWhat We’ll Provide:More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most.
