$70,000 /year salary

+ bonus + full benefits + paid PTO + matching 401k up to 4% + equity shares.Work happens from

Monday through Friday, 8PM to 5AM . As a manager, you don’t watch the clock, but most nights and weekends will be yours.Job Description:Sets goals and objectives for the department based on data then strives to meet them.Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all service department staff.Maintains reporting systems.Attends meetings as needed.Monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems and surveys.Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.Manages inventory.Conducts regular informative team meetings.Directs and schedules the activities of all department employees.Facilitates and/or conducts technical training.Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.Monitors and follows up on parts orders with the parts manager to ensure availability.Initials all repair orders before submitting them to the warranty department, monitoring for sales and hours relative to expectations.Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.Informs repair technicians of time allowances on each repair order.Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.Ensures that the work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean.Ensures the proper care, storage and inventory of special tools.Prepares pricing guides and maintenance menus for frequent labor operations.Handles customer concerns immediately.Establishes and maintains 24-hour follow-up with all customers to confirm satisfaction with the service experience.Maintains a safe work environment.Maintains a professional appearance.Other duties as assigned, but that’s the exception rather than the rule.WORKING CONDITIONS:This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes. Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as hot and cold weather.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods;Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 pounds);Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods;Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, lift, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day.
