We have an immediate opening at the Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) for a
strong Data Engineer
to participate in our Data Management Program. Data is one of our most valuable assets and we strive to become a more data-literate and data-driven organization. This position will work on a small, collaborative team that uses agile practices to deliver value to our business partners.
Desired Experience
Gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL – 6 yearsUsing ETL tools to design ETL jobs (ETL 6 years, preferably 2 years with Alteryx)Developing various types of data loads (e.g. incremental, history/full, survivorship rules) – 6 yearsImplementing change data capture (CDC) – 4 yearsTesting and debugging ETL – 6 yearsDeveloping complex SQL - 6 yearsETL job scheduling – 2 yearsLoading data warehouses using ETL tools – 2 yearsManagement of multiple ETL toolsExperience with data quality tools and frameworksUsing source code version control softwareMentoring others on ETL developmentManaging multiple, concurrent projects and tasksHaving strong interpersonal skills including communication, mentoring, collaborating, and team buildingETF Technologies
