Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties:
Design, architect, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products.
Analyze our customers’ needs and build features to meet those needs while keeping the platform stable and scalable.
Contribute to the software development process, from ideation to implementation to release, including prototyping, running A/B tests, source control management, or pushing code into production.
Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit or functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics.
Collaborate with users, other technical teams, project management, or sales to gather and understand requirements and present software product features and technical designs.
Document and report technical features of software to improve maintenance and upgrades.
Build technical product demonstrations, provide hands-on technical demonstrations of products and address technical questions.
Monitor project deliverables and services, identify and resolve technical and functional issues.
Adopt and promote software engineering best practices, keep abreast of evolving technologies, and mentor junior team members in technologies, tools, and processes.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java (two years); (2) SQL; (3) C++; (4) HTML; (5) JS; (6) Spring Boot; (7) Postgres SQL; (8) XML; (9) REST; and (10) SOAP. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
Salary: $183,310.00 - $227,000.00 per annum.
