You will be put right into the middle of a fast-moving startup's legal team, handling a number of tasks and matters simultaneously.Are you an innovative attorney who's looking to join an amazing team on a mission to grow small businesses? If so, come join us!What You’ll Be Doing:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including software licensing agreements, partnership agreements, and vendor contractsBe a part of the negotiating team for debt facilities and manage compliance with the legal terms post-deal closingReview privacy laws and assist in designing data privacy program in line with new and pending regulatory changesFunction as the internal go-to for litigation and arbitration proceedingsReview and monitor new legislative requirements that may strategically impact the companyCollaborate with compliance to design company controlsProvide counsel on lien laws and collection practicesBe a strategic advisor to the company, taking ownership of subject matter areas to drive projects to completionWhat We’re Searching For:

5+ years of experience in a startup, FinTech, financial services company, or law firmExperience drafting and negotiating contracts and MSAsExposure and experience with SME lending and funding lawsAbility and desire to develop, build, and implement legal controlsComfort working across various business units and levelsInnovative problem solverAwesome communication skillsJ.D. from accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing in at least one state barWe Prefer If You Have:

Experience at an SME focused FinTechIn-house experienceIn-depth knowledge of SME lending lawsExperience working with and/or knowledge of financial services complianceLitigation familiarityBackground working with multiple financial services productsWhat We Offer:
