Qualifications

BS/MS/MBA degree in business administration or a related fieldAt least 10 years of experience in sales and sales management, preferably in food or beverage salesSuccessful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targetsExperience selling a physical product into stores and accounts as well as customer and product successExperience with selling products into retail and food service settings, experience with selling through products, and increasing velocitiesMust be strong quantitatively - able to collect, analyze data, and create reportsAnalytical thinker and experienced with testing and iteration in sales methodologies as well as in-storeDemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization and to internal and external stakeholdersProven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closeStrong business sense and industry expertiseExcellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skillsTravel required as needed as part of the role (up to 50%)Responsibilities

The Head of Sales will be responsible for drafting sales reports, meeting sales targets, and estimating sales profit for productsAchieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales functionDesign and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures it’s a strong presenceOwn recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of the sales teamBuild and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needsPresent sales, revenue, and expenses (including trade) reports and realistic forecasts to the management teamIdentify and implement new tactics and methods for reaching more customers and consumersIdentify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition statusCollecting and analyzing sales performance and making recommendations from findingsCollaborating with our brand and marketing functions to activate accounts to enable strong sell-through of productOverseeing the account management function and making sure our partners and accounts are most successful with our productsEnsuring that our operator partners are trained on all aspects of the product and companyWill be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries, as well as to potential acquirers to conduct due diligencePeriodic weekend or evening work is expectedBenefits
