here .EverCommerce is seeking an experienced leader to oversee our Enterprise Applications (Finance and G&A Systems) team within its global CIO organization, reporting directly to our Chief Information Officer. This individual will have extensive experience in solution architecture and a deep understanding of emerging technical trends and innovations. They should possess strategic thinking, strong business and technical acumen, and the ability to influence senior leadership and drive execution.The VP of Enterprise Applications (Finance and G&A Systems) will be the strategic interface between the CIO organization and our Finance and G&A departments. This individual will lead ongoing efforts to design and operationalize a Finance Technology and G&A Technology strategy and roadmap that enables our Finance and G&A objectives. This individual should have a strong, product-centric mindset and be obsessed with building systems and tools that deliver a world-class employee and customer experience.Responsibilities:
Work closely with other senior leaders to build and enhance EverCommerce’s systems capabilities, be a strategic partner to the Finance and other G&A leaders and drive execution of a defined roadmap of initiatives supporting EverCommerce’s growth and scale objectives.Accountability and responsibility for EverCommerce’s end-to-end Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Report, and other G&A functional business processes, technical architecture, solution design, development, execution and maintenance.Lead prioritization of initiatives based on organization needs/strategy, workload, and budget.Build and retain a high-performing team through leading and developing team members who are responsible for implementing and maintaining technology tools and align with the mission, vision, strategy and values of EverCommerce.Define, optimize and maintain current and future state system and application architectures, frameworks, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business strategies.In close partnership with key stakeholders such as: IT, Data, Security, ePMO, Finance and other G&A functions, define and implement a strategic roadmap that is aligned with our business strategy.Identify opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes, partnering with teams across Finance and other G&A functions, Data, and Security on the implementation of solutions.Perform regular business process reviews and QBRs to make ongoing suggestions and create action plans.Empower teams and managers to make informed data-driven decisions and deliver meaningful insights and establish action plans to improve transactions and capabilities.Establish an overall technology vendor strategy for Finance and G&A functions and lead vendor assessments in partnership with stakeholders, owning strategic technology vendor relationships.Collaborate with the Internal Controls/Internal Audit, Security and Legal functions to ensure data security and adherence to all data privacy regulations and compliance with SOX/audit requirements, in addition to significantly raising the bar in terms of data security, business process, and access security.Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of Finance and G&A systems, identifying areas and opportunities for improvement.Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in Finance and G&A systems and recommend improvements to enhance business operations.Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
Excellent understanding of standard business practices and processes across “Order to Cash”, “Procure to Pay”, “Plan to Report”, “Contract to Value” processes.Experience in leading systems aspects of M&A transactions.Proven understanding of Finance, Payroll, Legal, People and IT processes and how they impact Finance and G&A systems.Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to develop a long-range vision and multi-year systems roadmap that drives innovative business solutions.A demonstrated track record of building successful, high-performing teams in conjunction with effective stakeholder management and influence.Significant project/product/program management experience, leading large, complex system implementations.Experience implementing Netsuite, Zuora, Coupa, Avalara, OneStream and other SaaS systems.Proven track record of building strong relationships; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills.Strong leadership experience in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding, and global work environment.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.15+ years of experience in internal/external IT business systems/technology.10+ years of experience in Finance technology and leading Finance and G&A Technology teams.Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $265,000 USD Per Year plus Bonus.
