This position is not eligible for employment in the following locations: San Francisco Bay Area & New York Metropolitan Area.Role Responsibilities:In this role, you will play an integral role in insurance product development and innovation. You will be responsible for supporting the product compliance team with its preparation and review filings. Day to day, your work may include a review of forms for new and existing insurance products, partnering with the technology team to implement approved filings, Vouch's online product, and assisting with audits and QA of forms. This role is a great opportunity for motivated insurance or compliance professionals looking to transition into a product compliance practice.Job Duties:Assist with the development, preparation, and submission of form, rate, and rule product filings for Commercial P&C InsuranceWork cross-functionally with teams across the company to develop the overall filing strategyReview and analyze state insurance department statutes, regulations, and bulletins to determine filing and regulatory requirements; provide guidance and direction to business units as neededWork directly with third-parties to draft and complete filingsAssist with problem solving techniques and regulatory concernsManage communication and negotiation of filings with the department of insurance that will result in timely approval of company productsCoordinate filing material including transmittals and filing memos with actuarial and product innovation teamStay current on changes and developments that impact insurance design, development, and filing requirementsMonitor bureau (ISO) circulars to determine the impact of form, loss costs, and rule changes as applicable and communicate action required to implement those changesManage master forms list and approved forms library for each applicable programPerform periodic audits to ensure policy issuance conforms to approved filingsSend monthly filing reports to the carrierAbout you:Working understanding of insurance form, rate, and rule filing processAdept at bringing creative insurance product ideas to solve ambiguous problemsExceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on real-time interaction, either written or verbalA strong ambition and excitement to focus on the customer, technology startupsExcitement to learn to work with key tools including Verisk / ISO and SERFFAbility to effectively manage multiple projects with the ability to prioritize high impact work3+ years of experience in Commercial P&C preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentNice to have:Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups and/or high growth environmentsA background in insurance or other regulated categoriesPrior experience working directly with state insurance regulatorsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degreeVouch provides a number of benefits to help you bring your best self to work:Competitive compensation and equity packagesHealth, dental, and vision insuranceParental leaveFlexible vacation time (Unlimited PTO)Wellness allowance ($80/month)Technology allowance ($100/month)Salary Range:The pay range for this role is: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes benefits and other perks.
