Don't wait!Why join us?* Must be a licensed attorney in Maryland, Virginia, and/or the District of Columbia and in good standing.* REMOTE is an option, as long as you are living in the Maryland, Virginia, and/or the District of Columbia areas!Competitive base salary (depending on experience), 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurance and so much more!Job DetailsResponsibilities:Provide underwriting support, answers, and guidance to customers and internal departments on real estate closings and title insurance matters.Determine our company's willingness and ability to ensure within the parameters of those transactions.Create and deliver relevant educational topics for our live seminars and webinars.Establish relationships with new customers.Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.Being able to provide underwriting support in additional jurisdictions is a plus.Respond to time-sensitive requests from customers for guidance in closing real estate transactions and mitigating risk.Support and assistance with business development efforts.Assist with audits as needed.Skills And Required Qualifications:3 to 10+ years of title insurance experience or real estate experience.Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA-approved law school.Must be a licensed attorney and in good standing in Maryland, Virginia, and/or the District of Columbia.Strong knowledge of title insurance rates and rules for all states of responsibility.Must remain current on all current developments in rules and regulations in the assigned states.Ability to discuss and review proposed requests for coverage to determine potential risks.Suggest and provide adequate language in title commitments, policies, and endorsements that will protect our company's interests while assisting the company’s agents.Ability to issue underwriting guidelines for all assigned states.Ability to prepare and deliver relevant presentations to our company’s customers.Ability to support the development of new customers.** Occasional travel is required **Interested in hearing more?
