The Medical Center is seeking to add outpatient neurology services to support their growing patient base. Recently designated as a DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center with Gold Plus award from the American Stroke Association and serving our region of the stroke belt, the ideal candidate will develop a general neurology base via new consultations, hospital follow-ups and vascular follow-ups and consults. This will be an employed position within the Neurology group currently consisting of 2 Neurohospitalists and 2 APPs.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday with opportunity to participate in our GME programs.
Compensation:
Competitive compensation & benefits, paid occurrence based malpractice, CME as well as several other negotiable incentives. There is a solid referral base supported by a 90+ mile radius catchment area offering a superlative payor mix.
The Medical Center is a 269-bed acute care hospital serving residents and visitors of Horry and surrounding counties. In 2012, the hospital performed 457 cardiac surgeries, delivered 914 babies and treated over 79,000 emergency department patients. Our hospital, located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, has more than 270 physicians, over 1,400 staff members and over 170 hospital volunteers to serve you.
