Define and integrate functional area strategy into the overall HR Strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall El Camino Health goals and Vision 2025.Drive a high performing team through building team capability and confidence.Continually monitor and stay up to date on HR, business, and societal trends.Use a comprehensive approach to making HR recommendations and decisions, including workforce and market data insights; financial implications to ECH; and HR functional expertise.Continually monitor the impact of HR decisions and weighs the impact on the employee- and manager-experience.Manage the design and implementation of prioritized transformative processes and programs, in partnership with HR leadership team, sponsors, and HR teams.Review and revise HR transformation priorities, including programs, processes and operating model for most critical improvement opportunities to deliver a positive employee- and manager- experience.Work closely with leadership to assist in the development and maintenance of a clear and comprehensive overall program plan; manage and maintain detailed project plans and track progress based on agreed timelines.Collaborate with business leaders, HR Business Partners and centers of expertise to design and implement programs that create improved or new processes or programs.Lead collaborative project teams, composed of multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts from various HR functional areas and other business units.Partner with workforce analytics to ensure the processes and programs can be continuously improved.Utilize system tools and interfaces to streamline processes, reducing manual efforts and enhance overall efficiency.Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and automation.Identify tangible opportunities to continuously improve the frontline employee experience through innovative recommendations; leveraging processes and automated workflow.Provide effective and timely communication while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, leaders and partners with minimal direction.Delivers strategic business projects on-time and on-budget. Produces quality deliverables by leveraging experience and project management methodologies.Brings discipline and strategic thinking to projects being delivered, while being able to execute tactically and ensure that the project team delivers on their commitments.Manages issues, risks, and decisions using appropriate and agreed upon PMO processes and tools.Provides regular, ongoing reporting and communications to leadership regarding status of initiatives.Qualifications

BS/BA degree in human resources, business, social science, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.Minimum 15 years of HR management, business, finance, and/or organizational development with 8 years or more working in a managerial, program management, and/or director level.Thorough understanding of ECH financial structure, budget process, and growth strategy.Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic plans using analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and innovation skills.Embraces challenges and collaborates with peers, colleagues, team members across El Camino Health.Engages and supports ongoing engagement and development of team.Experience in evaluating, developing, and implementing HR operational improvements through automation and process redesign to enable scalability and velocity.Experience breaking down complex processes and identifying key pain points to deliver improvements that impact the employee experience.Ability to prioritize multiple activities and complex projects simultaneously and hold people accountable to deliver results.Self-starter, can work independently and in a team – able to set tone and convey a sense of urgency.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.Ability to develop audience appropriate presentation and deliverables that are compelling, understandable and succinct.Capable of identifying barriers to achieving project goals and successfully solving them by working with appropriate business stakeholders and leaders.Strong organization, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills and abilities.Ability to manage teams across multiple related disciplines and across geographical locations.Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.License/Certification/Registration Requirements
