Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering team, and product teams.Design web applications with cloud backend that can scale with the business growth of Kohler Ventures.Build the forward-looking vision and lead the effort to understand and drive requirements with hardware/software teams.Coordinate with product development teams to execute rollout/adoption of common libraries, services, and patterns.Measurably improve code normalization across one or more critical code concerns throughout the codebase.Skills/Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Proficiency in one or more prominent programming languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript.Solid understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture.Experience with PostgreSQL databases.Demonstrated understanding of web application security.Availability to work outside of regular business hours as needed to collaborate with teams and vendors located across multiple time zones and ability to travel to South Korea 2-4 times/year.Preferred Qualifications
Experience on Design, Development, Optimization of Sitecore application.Technical experience in systems engineering at scale with regards to testing, reliability, security, and observability.Champion for quality in code, processes, and culture.Strong ability to communicate complex technical and management information clearly and concisely.Experience with Sitecore XM Cloud, or full stack development leveraging AWS to deploy highly scalable cloud applications.We will consider applicants requiring sponsorship for this opportunity.The approved base salary range for this position is $114,500 - $145,450. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is subject to 30% Area Salary Differential (Cost of Living Adjustment) for the San Francisco Bay area. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $148,850 - $189,085 depending on location.
