This position is 100% remote but you must be based in the US.The Director of HR will be the main point of contact for our US contingent workforce compliance for both internal and external stakeholders. You will help develop the company’s policies and knowledge in relation to legal issues and help translate that knowledge into requirements for our product teams as well as assist with training our partners and clients on compliance matters.Responsibilities
Be the main point of contact for US contingent workforce questionsProvide expertise and guidance on compliance and related risks to the companyStay up to date with US labor, payroll, and worker classification laws and provide guidance to our product/engineering teams where necessaryAttend partner and client meetings as an expert in support of our account management activitiesCreate and maintain policies related to our compliance obligationsRequirements
Bachelor’s degree or higherExtensive experience with the contingent workforce/staffingKnowledge of US payroll and independent contractor issuesExcellent communication skillsExcellent analytical skillsWillingness to work in a fast-paced, startup environmentAbout Ascen
