Job Description
AECOM is seeking a
Program Management Director
to be based in
Sacramento, CA. JOB SUMMARY: The selected individual will work on one of AECOM's largest infrastructure programs. The Program Management Director will manage the Contract Management Team that is responsible for the management and administration of the program. Management of this program includes work plan development and management, performance monitoring, invoice approval, reporting, and deliverable acceptance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the program Contract management team, Sub-Contract management team and small business participation team to ensure efficient and contractually compliant utilization of the Contract is achieved. Ensuring small business participation goals in the Contract are met. Represent the contract teams at key program management meetings (confidence meetings, delivery status meetings, etc.) as and when needed. Ensure contract reporting needs are met to the agreed timelines. This includes inputs to program delivery status reports, program confidence meetings, and other executive meetings to support the director. Prepare and update Work Plans, subsequent monitoring, and reporting of progress and completion. Routinely resolve difficult issues with significant financial impact. Interact with senior government or public officials on significant program matters. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BS/BA + 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 4 years leadership. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to apply principles and practices of project management, commercial management, and program management; project controls and reporting techniques; construction project phases and disciplines. Use analytical techniques to provide solutions; meet deadlines; work and communicate effectively with others using courtesy, respect, and sensitivity; and follow and adhere to company policies. Familiar with infrastructure and transportation projects and disciplines. Familiar with PMO roles and responsibilities. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
