We’re pioneering mobile energy storage technology, leveraging vertical integration and a software-enabled service model to deliver last-mile electrification for our customers and communities.The RoleAs a Manager of Material Purchasing team within our Supply Chain organization, you will play a key role in streamlining the material planning and purchasing processes & systems, right sizing inventory, and assuring that we have the right quantity of parts in the factory at the right time.What you'll do:Ensure timely execution of purchasing and supplier schedulingManage supply and constraints, status reporting and escalation, supplier engagement in order to ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costsLead, manage, coach and develop a high performing team of Material PlannersOwn and present clear-to-build status, material coverage, run-out reports and other analyses as needed to the senior management teamImplement and ensure effectiveness and accuracy of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systemManage material planning system configuration, parameters and master data to optimally reflect supply chain capabilities and plan supply to right size inventory and exceed service level goals while minimizing costs and obsolescenceSkills to be successful:3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, distribution, finance, or supply chain managementExperience in a manufacturing environment (preferably working with medium-to-high volume products) with knowledge & experience in converting and communicating demand requirements for products into detailed plans and schedules for inventory acquisition.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in developing, implementing, and assessing key operational and financial metricsDemonstrated skills in supplier operational and relationship managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBachelors or Masters in Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional abilityShift and Compensation Details:Shift: N/ACompensation Range: $120k - $150kAt Moxion you get:Health, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, competitive equity & compensation packages, free lunch, coffee, and snacks onsite, flexible work from home (for some roles), free tax advisory services, access to Mountain Hardware, Columbia, Sorel, & Prana employee stores and discounts, company swag, investment in professional development courses, and parental leave program.We Value:People are at the core of Moxion’s values.
