Come electrify the future with us!What you'll do:Ensure timely execution of purchasing and supplier schedulingManage supply and constraints, status reporting and escalation, supplier engagement in order to ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costsLead, manage, coach and develop a high performing team of Material Planners & Purchasing SpecialistsOwn and present clear-to-build status, material coverage, run-out reports and other analyses as needed to the senior management teamImplement and ensure effectiveness and accuracy of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systemManage material planning system configuration, parameters and master data to optimally reflect supply chain capabilities and plan supply to right size inventory and exceed service level goals while minimizing costs and obsolescenceSkills to be successful:3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, distribution, finance, or supply chain managementExperience in a manufacturing environment (preferably working with medium-to-high volume products) with knowledge & experience in converting and communicating demand requirements for products into detailed plans and schedules for inventory acquisition.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in developing, implementing, and assessing key operational and financial metricsDemonstrated skills in supplier operational and relationship managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBachelors or Masters in Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional abilityNice to haves:APICS or other supply chain management certificationsElectric vehicle or battery pack related supply chain management experienceAt Moxion you get:Health, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO, competitive equity & compensation packages, free coffee and snacks, flexible work from home policy, access to Mountain Hardware, Columbia, Sorel, & Prana employee stores and discounts, credit to company swag store, investment in professional development courses, and parental leave program.We Value:People are at the core of Moxion’s values.
