Talent Acquisition Specialist

is responsible for delivering outstanding services and facilitating hiring processes to the

Marmon Rail Group

of companies while learning the art and science of full lifecycle search and recruiting.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Screen and analyze applicant resumes for current job requisitions and pipeline building for future talent.Facilitate the Targeted Selection (TS) hiring process by scheduling interviews and related meetings.Liaison with our talent acquisition vendors such as HireRight, Data Facts, LinkedIn, Indeed, Zip Recruiter.Process Interns for the hiring managers.Prepare job requisition advertising to attract on-target candidates as assigned.Cultivate strong knowledge of the organization, industry, and competitors.Learn and utilize talent acquisition industry best practices.Develop and execute reporting on key metrics such as open requisitions, interviews, time-to-fill, DEI, verbal offers, written offer letters, acceptance dates.Track applicant flow and start-to-finish process on searches.Assist with creation of offer letters.Develop presentation skills to candidates and hiring managers.

Develop proficiency in key talking points about our organization relevant to applicants.Develop proficiency in key presentation points about candidates relevant to hiring managers.

Build collaborative positive working relationships both internally and externally.Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.Participate in special projects and training efforts.REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES:Outstanding listening and communication skills, verbal and written.Ability to learn and continuously grow by gradually taking on additional responsibility and challenge.High level of curiosity and motivation for continued learning and growth within the Talent Acquisition arena.Mature emotional intelligence, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels.Detail orientation to accuracy of all information, verbal and written.Excellent time management and prioritization.Ability to flex with priorities that may change at unexpected times.Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates.Resourceful, creative thinking for searching and recruiting candidates.KEY AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT:Learn about the products and services of the Marmon Rail Group entities.Become familiar with the various related roles / positions / job descriptions.Become proficient using the recruiting / talent acquisition module of MPower.Learn how to utilize a variety of search techniques including Boolean and networking.Learn about the Marmon “Targeted Selection” process and creation of TS interview guides.Develop interviewing skills.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Organizational Development, or other relevant degree focus.Minimum 2 years of related work experience.DISCLAIMER:Please note the duties listed are not set forth for the purpose of limiting the assignment of work.
