Job Description
The Director of Finance is an integral part of the leadership team and will be managing all financial aspects of the business, including corporate accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting. This candidate is a hands-on manager and collaborates with all departments to track operational performance, develop short and long-range budgets and forecasts, as well as develop internal controls, policies, and procedures.Director of Finance responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Function as a business partner to the President and senior leadership team in developing and executing the business strategyManage the development and evaluation of the operational plan, long-term strategic outlook, and short-term forecastsProvide financial analysis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract reviewProvide financial analysis on product cost modeling and margin performanceEvaluate and advise on the impact of potential acquisitions and/or mergersPrepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, oversee year-end close, and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standardsEstablish credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challengesEnhance, develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the companySupervision of accounting department
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceCertified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred6+ years of senior-level leadership experience in accounting or finance, financial reporting and managementAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipDemonstrated strong financial planning and analysis skillsExperience in GAAP and non-GAAP reporting; knowledge and aptitude for current regulatory and compliance practicesStrong supervisory, leadership, technology, and communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, including an ability to navigate and resolve conflict in a manner that values and respects relationshipsA strong attention to detail, organized work style, ability to follow through on work assignments independently, and able to function effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of project-based accountingA personal commitment to organizational excellence; honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions

This position is full time, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm, with overtime, as needed.
