Sr. Account Executive - Immediate Need!Salary: $90,000 - $135,000 per yearA Bit About UsClient is the largest and leading full-service Insurance organization offering consulting, risk management services, and all forms of business, personal, life, disability, and group insurance.Why join us?Hybrid Work Environment - 2 days in office a weekBonus/Commission PlansLeading Benefits Package401k MatchJob DetailsTasks to be completed:Market new accounts to standard carriers and wholesale brokers (applications completed by the producer)Market renewals, including gathering renewal information and updating applicationsRound out / cross-sell to existing accountsProcess new business and renewals (binders, billings, instructions to carrier, policy checking, etc.)Handle day-to-day service requirements (direct communication with clients and carriers, updating Applied, processing changes on carriers' sites, certificates, etc.)Quote new business and process changes on carriers’ sites as required by carriersReview policies and accounts for possible gaps in coverageReview account receivables for book of business and follow up for paymentMaintain monthly expiration listsKeep Applied updated as all tasks are being doneWork with assigned assistants on an ongoing basis in order to assist in their growth and developmentBack up your assistant and other account manager (teammate) when they are outVisit clients with producers as producers feel necessary. Visits are during work hours via car, train, bus, subway. Occasional visits to clients in own vehicle.Participate in department training as requested by commercial lines managerAttend classes needed to maintain license requiredSkills Required To Complete TasksMotivatedOrganized – able to handle multiple accounts and producersResourceful – able to figure out where to get answersAble to handle all aspects of an account on ownStrong yet polite - able to deal with difficult situations - always with the insureds' and agency's best interests as a primary concernGood oral and written communication skills; able to speak clear and concise EnglishExperience dealing with wholesale brokers and surplus lines accountsWorking knowledge of insurance agency accounting principles (agency bill, direct bill, finance companies, account currents, etc.)Knowledge of Word, Excel, WindowsKnowledge of Applied desired but not required
