Your role at Clorox:
The Category Expert at BJ's for Glad, Litter, Charcoal & Food; is the primary Clorox interface and Category expert with BJ's.Interested but only meet some of the requirements listed? Engage our People as Business Owners:
Build and deliver strategic, omni-channel plans.Work to influence and lead cross-functionally with the BU, Category, Shopper, Finance, and Supply Chain partners to deliver results.Utilize data and analytics to forecast demand.Effectively manage the financial checkbook for each category.Drive the Business:
Leads execution of volume, net sales, AMPS and profit objectives for assigned Categories at BJ’s.Enables profitable growth for each category by leading and developing strategic omni-plans and provides clear direction for the customer/cross-functional teams.Customer Planning and Development:
Understands and drives Business planning process for assigned Categories at BJ’s.Delivers Joint Business Plans for assigned Categories at BJ’s that achieve results and are within trade budget.Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste:
Facilitates connection between Customer team, cross-functional resources and category counterparts.What we look for:
Typically requires 5+ years of CPG experience.Clorox external (Field Sales/Customer) or equivalent experience.Clorox Internal (Sales Planning) experience beneficial.Category expertise.Strong Customer knowledge.Consultative/Solution selling.Customer Business Planning-process and tools (i.e. Exceedra, Forecasting).Leverages the Clorox matrix.Cross-functional Knowledge and Influence.Leadership and Influence.Analytical and Decision Making.Interpersonal Relationship Management.Planning and Organizing.Adaption and Flexibility.Demonstrates GM/Enterprise Mindset.Workplace type:
