You are an experienced construction management professional with an understanding of field operations, systems, and procedures and are excited about building people the home of their dreams. You will be part of our Construction department, responsible for handling vertical construction.A Day In The LifeReport to Area ManagerDrive to various job sitesManagement of Gantt Schedule daily in SalesforceManagement of trade partners daily in the fieldWork daily with our technology platform merging your construction knowledge with real-time data collection to ensure the accurate tracking of project schedules and budgets.Ensure jobsites adhere to company safety standardsEnsure trade partner work is completed on time, and within defined standards of qualityInspect, validate workmanship and product quality to conform to company standardsWalk houses/jobsites daily and create a punch list to ensure work is completed on timeCollaboration and proactive positive communication with Purchasing, Design, and Land Development teams.Develop and facilitate positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors through honest, timely, and clear communications.Coordinate with Quality team at key milestones and to ensure adherence to standards and detailsParticipate in Construction Superintendent Training programWhat You’ll NeedRelevant construction certification and/or license or equivalent relevant on-the-job experience3-5 years of experience in residential construction/home buildingAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of an organizationDetail-oriented individual with the capability of handling multiple projects at any given timeExperience in management of a Gantt chart construction scheduleStrong blueprint reading skillsSelf-starter with an ability to work independentlyFamiliarity with app-based technology with the expectation of Salesforce proficiency within 3 months of employment.
