Our company is seeking an attorney with at least 6 years of litigation experience to join the Litigation Department in our Tampa office as Special Counsel.
This is a full-time, non-partner track position supporting our Complex Litigation Construction Practice.
The attorney in this position will be responsible for multi-party litigation construction defect matters and must be confident in their autonomy.
This position requires an individual who is self-motivated and focused.
Our ideal candidate will have very strong oratory, research, and writing skills.
The candidate is expected to have significant courtroom or arbitration experience and will have conducted discovery, drafted substantive dispositive motions, have substantial deposition experience, and at least some trial or evidentiary hearing experience.
The candidate must have baseline knowledge of insurance risk transfer issues for property damage claims.
Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills Required.
To be considered, candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the Florida Bar. Board Certification in Construction Law by the Florida Bar is preferred. Interested applicants should submit a resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample.
