About BlueCargoBlueCargo is building software to handle transportation of containers from the ports to the first warehouses by truck - also called first mile delivery. We are bringing the Freight Tech revolution.

The startup was founded by two female entrepreneurs, graduated from Y Combinator (2018 batch), and has raised a 4 million seed round. We are at the beginning of an exciting growth phase where we have already developed product-market fit, a working platform, and hundreds of daily active users.

OpportunityWe’re looking for a Product Manager to deliver an ambitious roadmap including opening a new target audience (new types of users), extending the Enterprise customers and expanding to new port in the US.

As one of the early employees at BlueCargo, you will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Requirements

Evaluate market opportunities

Run customers’ interviews and user research

Complete data analysis to understand the next best opportunity for the company

Deliver Product Requirements Documents

Work with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, sales, operations) to prioritise features and scope projects

Deliver features from conception to production launch (with testing)

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience as Product Manager, ideally at a Series A startup

BA/BS in relevant field

Self-starter mentality with a passion for technology, best practices, and research

Previous experience managing product requirements, deliverables, and documentation

Process-driven and detail-oriented

Proficient in SQL (Python is a plus)

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

High energy and capable of multitasking
