At our Global Operations & Supply Chain (GO&SC) Controllership team at Medtronic we are leaning into opportunities to refine our Functional Operating Model, ensuring sustainable effectiveness and efficiency. The Financial Analyst is responsible for managing, reporting, and auditing of the cycle count process and inventory control across Medtronic’s US operations.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Execution of compliance audits related to Inventory Compliance across production, engineering lab, logistics warehouses, satellite facilities, and subcontractor locations in the US.Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements.Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to Inventory Compliance.Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting, data collection, and analysis.Supporting the development and implementation of financial best practices.Other ad-hoc tasks and data preparation are required for both internal and external customers.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
Nice to Have
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in financial reporting and analysis.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with diverse teams and present findings to stakeholders.Proven ability to lead projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience with SAP ERP and prior business development experience.Experience working in Audit function (external or internal).
