The role will partner with Global Operations Finance Business Partners, our global manufacturing FP&A & center of excellence (COE) teams and our Global Supply Chain function. The role will support ensuring GOSC FP&A processes, timelines, reporting, and analysis deliver on our business objectives.This position reports to the Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager responsible for Direct Labor & MUV and serves as a key member of the Global Operations and Supply Chain (GOSC) FP&A Direct Labor & MUV team in Medtronic, with primary responsibility for partnering with the East manufacturing platform. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for planning, analyzing, and reporting on Direct Labor, MUV & Scrap.This position will be located in Minneapolis, MN.A Day in The Life Of:Execution of the consolidation and review of the weekly labor & MUV KPIs for the East Platform. Investigate & understand drivers of variances and escalate concerns as they arise. Collaborate with East Platform sites to bring all online to produce the weekly reporting for Labor & MUV.Collaborate with Manufacturing Site Operations & Finance partners and Global Manufacturing FP&A to develop processes, analyses and presentation content that transforms data into storytelling to influence our financial performance.Be a proactive strategic business partner to the East Platform sites, providing insights & understanding of variations in labor efficiency, wage rates & MUV.Partner cross functionally in the production of the Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasts.Identification of opportunities to forecast based on a combination of expected changes and trending.Supporting the development and implementation of financial best practices in Labor & MUV reporting.Other ad-hoc tasks and data preparation as required for internal customers.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelors degree requiredMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experienceNice to HaveProfessional Accountancy qualification required e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA.Strong communication skills, both oral and written and experience presenting to leadership.Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple and conflicting deadlines and priorities.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships across time zones & geographies.Extraordinary independent problem solving and strategic thinking abilities. Project Management skills.Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.SAP experience is preferred.Manufacture Finance support experience is preferred.About MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.
