Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant OR Nurse PractitionerAnnapolis, MD

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Annapolis, MD. Our ideal PA|NP is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections. The provider will work as a team with Functional medicine providers, nutritionists, Chiropractors, medical assistants, case managers, and other support staff.

We have a dynamic, well-educated team of medical professionals including a physician, advance practice provider, and amazing support staff.

Duties:

Patient exam and evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records and imaging)

Order and review diagnostic tests and labs

Determine diagnosis and treatment plan formulation in a team setting

Patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, rehabilitation exercises, and various modalities

Manage patient care including prescribing exercise, nutritional supplementation, and medication as part of functional medical programs

Oversee and administer IV and/or push therapies

Perform trigger point and joint injections

Documentation and progress notes

Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

PA|NP license in MD

Orthopedic, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or Pain management background is a plus

Experience with joint injections is a plus

Schedule:Full time (Mon-Fri)

Compensation:$110k-130k per year (DOE)
