SCAN takes great pride in recognizing our team members as experts in their fields and rewarding them for their efforts.The JobThe Manager, Business Intelligence Delivery leads technical resources in the development and maintenance of Business Intelligence products (Enterprise Data Warehouse, Reports, Portal, etc.)You WillManage a BI (Business Intelligence) team by overseeing all aspects of staff production, quality, prioritization and delivery of BI work products and focuses on a high degree of customer service by advocating effective internal and external communications.Responsible and accountable for ensuring accurate and timely deliverables, for assigned team.Utilizes inventory management systems and practices to promote efficient and effective throughput and projected resource usage/leveling. Ensures work products align to established EDW design and architectural practices.Collaborates frequently with other BI Delivery Managers to ensure work products are effectively understood, and transitioned to and from New Projects to Operations. May be assigned scope/deliverables for New Projects and/or Operations team (cross-functioning management role), based on business needs. May often take on overflow work from other BI Delivery Manager, as priorities change.Promotes team success by monitoring individual staff performance in quality, productivity and job knowledge, communicating expectations and upholding established processes and methodologies including a strict adherence to SDLC; encourages staff to collaborate and provides development opportunities for personal growth; proactively addresses and corrects deficiencies and promotes excellence in all performance categories.Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, coaching, counseling, developing, and disciplining employees; handles other personnel matters for the team.Leverages on-shore/off-shore resource model to optimize labor efficiencies and throughput.Contributes to resolving business issues and/or improving member health issues by exploring technical innovations applicable to healthcare data.Supports company-wide initiatives and strategic goals by effectively utilizing resources and prioritizing projects as necessary to meet applicable timelines.Flexibility to complete long and short-term projects, as well as non-standard data requests, through effective planning and delegating of work to staff accordingly.Maintains BI proficiency and expertise through continuous learning of SCAN data environments including the SCAN Enterprise Data Warehouse, other upstream systems, and supplemental data stores. Ensures staff is equally trained.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and/or participating in professional societies.Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.Other duties as assigned.Your QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field of study required3+ years’ experience managing technical resources, preferably in the healthcare industry.3-5 years of Business Intelligence experience highly preferred.Experience with Agile Azure DevOps CI/CDExperience with Cloud and Modern Data Warehousing TechnologiesSolid SQL skills and database knowledge required; strong familiarity with SQL Server products.Experience with SDLC methodology.Ability and desire to manage and operate in a cross-functional environment; proficient in responding to changing priorities.Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills; Ability to multitask.Ability to appropriately maintain confidentiality.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, required.Ability to lead a team of professionals towards strategic company goals.What's in it for you?Base Salary Range: $125,400 to $200,600 annuallyAn annual employee bonus programRobust Wellness ProgramGenerous paid-time-off (PTO)Ten paid holidays per year, plus 1 additional floating holidayExcellent 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with employer matchRobust employee recognition programTuition reimbursementAn opportunity to become part of a team that makes a difference to our members and our community every day!We're always looking for talented people to join our team!
