Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support our finance department in various accounting and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies and procedures.Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues and provide financial support as needed.Assist with audits and tax preparation as required.Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting operations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
