Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks).Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, receipts, and sales.Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts regularly.Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end close.Generate and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making processes.Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.Ensure timely payment of bills and invoicing of clients.Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital.Work closely with our external tax professionals as needed for tax filing preparations.Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.Support external auditors during annual audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping roles.Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Great benefits.
