Job Title: Accountant
Location: Fremont, CA 94538Great Pay to $100KImmediate need for an Accountant seeking to work for a growing manufacturing company in the East Bay Area. The company offers medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits as well as paid time off and holiday pay.Job Responsibilities:
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Accounts ReceivableAccounts PayableMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks).Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, receipts, and sales.Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts on a regular basis.Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end close.Generate and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making processes.Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital.Work closely with our external tax professionals as needed for tax filing preparations.Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.Support external auditors during annual audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping roles.Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred but not required.Don't miss out on this Sr. Accountant opportunity for a Manufacturing company.
