Position: UX/UI Designer

1 Year contractThis is an onsite hybrid position, requiring 3 days of on-site work, 2 days remote after the first 3 weeks.Required Skills and Information:

Figma, HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, UX, UI, English language, needs to be self-supporting from a technical perspective (proper design computer and software).Requirements:

Solid experience leading all aspects of UX projects for Business to Consumer applications.Strong design skills/experience with user interface, layout, page structure, and design standards.Solid UX skills in wireframing, flowchart, and research analysis.Accomplished at collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating work in an intelligent, comprehensive manner.Strong ability for solving complex problems, and advising on layout/functionality issues.Understanding of how to develop successful online customer experiences.Solid skills in HTML/CSS, with the ability to produce good responsive code for template assistance.WordPress / Elementor skills very useful.Understand key server-side web development concepts through experience.Job Responsibilities:

Participate in daily meetings and regular planning and review sessions. Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure complete delivery of web applications.Provide documentation and participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and routine status stand-ups.Provide accurate level-of-effort time estimates and provide recommendations for feature prioritization.Assist in release/deployment planning and execution activities.Create visually appealing web pages and interfaces.Create, edit, or modify templates for CMS, WordPress, or web development frameworks.Test cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility.Test for compliance to standards, such as accessibility, in the clients' region or domain.Conduct observational user testing and review designs against usability heuristics.Qualifications:

7+ years of solid UX/UI skills for business or Business to Consumer clients.2+ years of Figma experience.Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Sketch and Photoshop for graphic support.A solid portfolio of true UX/UI projects, with descriptions of work performed and results generated.A Bachelor's degree in UX or a related design field (or combined with related experience).Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.Ability to communicate and work well with others with excellent English speaking and writing skills.Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines, and new challenges.Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong time management and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
