DescriptionUnder supervision, the Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients at PAMC as prescribed by physicians in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines. Responsible for assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. Implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. We are hiring for the following positions in the Respiratory Therapy Department:Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner - Full-Time, 0.9 FTE, Variable Shift, 36 Hours Per WeekAssociate Respiratory Care Practitioner - Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours are as needed.Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner - Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Night Shift, Hours are as needed.Required qualifications:Upon hire: National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care OrUpon hire: National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory CareUpon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationUpon hire: Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is preferred.Preferred qualifications:Associate degree in Respiratory Care.1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.Why Join Providence?Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security.
