The ideal candidate is well-rounded with experience in corporate FP&A, budgeting, and financial modeling.This is a key position located at our San Ramon, CA headquarters which reports to the Manager, FP&A.Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecastsBuild and maintain top and bottom-line financial forecasts, report on key metrics, and create ad hoc queries and financial modelsPartner with business units to analyze and identify key drivers of risks and opportunities to help maintain an accurate read on quarterly forecastsPrepare monthly / quarterly budget vs. actual variance analysisMonitor key trends / assumptions on headcount, capital expenditures, and operating expensesWork closely with the Accounting team in monthly close processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy of entriesLeverage Five9 financial systems to automate and scale current processes and reportsParticipate in new FP&A initiatives, including ad hoc analysis and process improvementRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required3+ years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience or relevant experience in investment banking/private equitySaaS experience a plusHigh analytical acumen and financial modeling skillsExceptional attention to detailExperience with planning systems such as Adaptive Insights / Host Analytics / OracleAdvanced Excel skills requiredBasic SQL database knowledge a plusAttributes:
Detail-oriented and systematic with a high level of accuracyStrong business partnering skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to develop and deliver presentations with all levels of managementA team player with ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in office is required.#LI-JM1
