The primary responsibility of the Commercial Sales Manager is to guide the Self-Performed Commercial (SPC) Sales team in advancing the social and environmental mission of the organization by setting and achieving its SPC sales targets. ReVision Energy's SPC Sales team is responsible for marketing, targeting, prospecting, lead generation, customer education, proposal delivery, contract negotiations, and project closing for Self-Performed Commercial projects, which are generally 100 kW (AC) or smaller. This position will collaborate closely with the Director of Commercial Sales and the Commercial Sales Coordinator to ensure we are executing our market strategies across multiple states and project categories.

This full-time position is company-wide and offers the flexibility to report to any of our office locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Manages SPC Sales team and tracks team performance against SPC Sales goals and Solar Champion plan, including KPIs.Understands state solar policies in ReVision's markets (ME, NH, and MA) and develops targeting strategy based on market opportunities and key segments.Ensures effective CRM process and pipeline management.Provide project-specific design and pricing assistance to SPC Sales.Collaborates with SPC Development and SPC Construction Managers to ensure projects are designed and priced appropriately before a contract is issued.Supports deal-closing for the SPC Sales team at customer-facing meetings.Review SPC Sales team members' sales/technical skills and policy/market knowledge, reporting gaps to the Director of Commercial Sales to ensure targeted training and meetings address these areas.Conducts quarterly conversations with each team member.Acts as liaison for SPC Sales, collaborating directly with the Director of Commercial Sales to ensure company priorities within each market and technologies are being met.Requirements

3-5 years experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy sector3-5 years management experience with strong interpersonal skills including teamwork and collaborationStrong understanding of federal and state renewable energy business and incentive programsHighly organized with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and maintain attention to detailIndependent with the ability to set priorities based on urgency and importanceCreative and innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skillsEfficient, capable of producing significant output with minimal wasteHigh Standards expecting excellence from both personal and team performanceFlexible, and able to adjust and cope with changing priorities and conditionsAdvanced technical skills, including proficiency with computer-based programs such as Excel, Word, email, web-based applications and Customer Relationship Management Databases and reporting toolsADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (desired but not required):

Renewable Energy market experience, including an understanding of renewable energy financing and incentivesMaster in Business Administration (MBA) or other relevant degree
