Scion Executive Search has been retained to search for the incoming Director of Development on behalf of our client, Women's Resource Medical Centers of Southern Nevada, an incredible nonprofit organization rooted in faith and dedicated to assisting families navigating pregnancies. The organization is undergoing an exciting rebranding initiative to become Allyfe Pregnancy Centers, set to launch on January 1, 2025!

This full-time, onsite, permanent position is for immediate hire in the dynamic city of Las Vegas, Nevada.

OVERVIEW:The Director of Development reports directly to the CEO and the CFO and will ensure Allyfe Pregnancy Centers meets their annual fundraising goals to maintain financial stability. Working closely with the CEO and the Board of Trustees, this role provides leadership and direction for all fundraising efforts. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to raise awareness of Allyfe Pregnancy Centers' mission and strengthen relationships with key donors and stakeholders. We seek a dynamic development leader with a strategic vision and a strong commitment to financial stewardship.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create, implement, and sustain a comprehensive strategic fundraising plan to enhance awareness of Allyfe's mission and activities, while strengthening the organization's impact among key stakeholders.Oversee the comprehensive communication strategy, encompassing advertising, event marketing, partner relations, direct mail campaigns, website and online management, social media messaging, and public relations/media efforts.Prepare and present impact reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership and Board of Trustees.Actively engage in major gift solicitation, fostering strong relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors through focused cultivation and stewardship efforts.Expand local revenue generation and fundraising endeavors to bolster current program operations and facilitate program expansion initiatives.Responsible for managing the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing technology utilization.Responsible for managing the department's budget and ensuring the successful achievement of goals and objectives.Develop and oversee annual plans, budgets, and reports, and manage gift tracking systems.Prepare annual development plan aligned with the corresponding budget, detailing revenue and expenses; regularly monitor progress against goals and produce monthly executive-level reports.Lead successful fundraising events and ensure that new prospects from these events are identified and nurtured.Prepare and submit grant applications, while managing recurring grants and retention by ensuring timely and effective impact reporting to all funders.Design a three-year strategic fundraising plan focused on diversifying income streams.Direct annual fund cultivation, solicitation, and steward donor relationships.Establish annual objectives for all facets of the Annual Fund, encompassing the Annual Giving Campaign, development events, planned giving, capital campaigns, and grants.Develop and execute a comprehensive, written plan for Annual Fund development.Oversee the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities for the Annual Fund.Generate regular reports to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of Annual Fund strategies and progress.Budget and manage expenses related to the Annual Fund.Strategize and oversee capital campaign and growth initiatives.Regularly generate reports assessing various fundraising strategies and progress across all areas to effectively communicate outcomes to management teams and the Board.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of successful experience in a director-level sales or fundraising role of a similarly scoped organization.Dedication to Allyfe Pregnancy Centers' mission, and a dynamic and evolving personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.Compassion for and commitment to providing abortion alternatives to women facing unexpected pregnancies and their preborn babies.Genuine passion for sales/fundraising, coupled with a proven track record of success.Bachelor's degree preferred (concentrations in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising are a plus).Proficiency in expert-level written and verbal communication, coupled with strong fundraising capabilities through relationship-building and networking skills.Proven history of formulating and implementing strategies that have propelled an organization to the next level of growth.Demonstrated track record of effectively cultivating and stewarding strong business development relationships with individuals, businesses, and foundations.Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills.Established ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to prioritize big-picture ideas and execute them into tangible actions.Capable of periodic travel, including commuting to and from activities primarily within the metro area, with occasional travel necessary throughout Allyfe Pregnancy Centers' service area.Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:This full-time, on-site opportunity will substantially impact Southern Nevada communities. Allyfe Pregnancy Centers prioritizes employee well-being and satisfaction by providing a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support health, financial security, and work-life balance. In addition to a competitive annual base salary, robust health insurance coverage is offered, with the organization covering 90% of the premiums for employees, along with optional vision and dental coverage available at a nominal fee. Employees receive generous time off, including six sick days, nine paid holidays, ten vacation days, one floating holiday per year, and one personal wellness day each quarter, allowing for self-care and wellness activities.
