Our sales team is growing fast and plays an increasingly strategic role in building customer relationships and supporting society in finding the best solutions to decarbonize.

Partner with the best

The “Clean Power Solutions – Senior Sales Manager North & South America” will be customer-facing and responsible for winning business in the new energy space in North and South America. You will develop a customer interface roadmap with a long-term perspective while also focusing on turning leads into actual orders. This is a unique role to contribute to real projects, real solutions, and real equipment to make the energy transition happen.

All this is done by creating new customer engagements in this emerging new energy market while leveraging the broader Baker Hughes existing network in the energy sector. A network of a company uniquely positioned to play across the value chain of the energy transition – from capturing CO2 to storing it underground, from supporting hydrogen production to producing power from hydrogen.

As a “Clean Power Solutions – Senior Sales Manager North & South America”, you will be responsible for:

Developing a solid pipeline of Clean Power projects in North & South America.Transforming leads into orders. Delivering an ambitious order plan by managing complex commercial and technical sales processes through involving client and internal stakeholders.Positioning Baker Hughes as a critical partner for the microgrids, low-carbon power generation, waste heat recovery, and energy storage markets.Nurturing and building relationships with key players to provide them with Baker Hughes' best Clean Power solutions and technology.Leading sales creative solutions together with the product lines. You will be empowered to think outside the box and sell solutions by creating partnerships for the best customer experience.Positioning Baker Hughes for critical pilot projects to promote the development and launch of new technology.Working collaboratively with various stakeholders in Baker Hughes to properly channel customer feedback as well as being the ambassador of Baker Hughes Clean Power Solutions.Staying close to industry and government trends, discovering sources of project funding, and identifying key partnerships and alliances to promote Baker Hughes' value position.

Fuel your passion

To Be Successful In This Role You Will:

Have education from an accredited university or college.Display the ability to take ownership, execute, and shape results in a global-matrix organization.Show the ability to close complex deals/business agreements.Demonstrate knowledge of key energy technologies (Gas/Steam turbines, hydrogen, power generation, etc.).Have knowledge of clean power solutions (Geothermal, microgrid, Renewables, etc.).Understand the new electricity market paradigm by staying on the forefront of technology and new services.Possess a broad and intimate network in the Energy and/or Industrial market in the Americas.Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences and leadership team members.
