WHAT YOU’LL DO:We are looking for a Jr. Web Designer to work with multiple brands, including Volcom, Spyder, Captain Fin, Billabong, and RVCA!Collaborate with Ecommerce marketing and merchandising teams to translate creative assets into effective designs for the web and emailDesign and develop homepage banners, email content and digital advertising assets for portfolio of Liberated brands as requiredSupport multiple brands across Liberated Brands as neededProduce designs for desktop and mobile layouts / requirementsProvide wireframes for new design concepts on assigned websitesHandle some basic HTML setup on Shopify after graphics are producedManipulate graphics as requested (retouching, color-correcting, file conversion)All other duties assigned
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in web/graphic and print design2 years or more experience in graphic arts productionHave strong typography, layout, illustration, and design skills.Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.Web development experience, Ex. HTML and CSSDemonstrate the ability to quickly comprehend visual design requirements.Knowledge of UI/UX design principlesEffective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure of tight deadlines.This is a hybrid position working from our Costa Mesa location.

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $50k - $65k. This position is hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
